Thomas Mestmaker

Tom is a hands-on, front line, in the trenches insurance innovator and legend. He has spent 35 years in the insurance industry and was the founder of Thomas Mestmaker Insurance. Mestmaker Insurance handled a variety of public and private organizations during his years at the helm. Mestmaker represented 325 law enforcement agencies, 1,200 school districts and over 1,500 commercial clients. Tom understands the practical side of risk management and he knows how to think outside the box. He sold Mestmaker Insurance and co-founded M&M Insurance Solutions Limited to pursue a passion of helping companies succeed through innovative structuring of their risk management models.
Sean McNally
Director
Sean has committed his life to making the environment for business better—fair and equitable for everyone involved. He has worked tirelessly on new legislation to improve California's Workers Compensation programs. Sean co-authored two state initiatives to reform Workers Comp that was passed overwhelmingly by the legislature and signed into law. He is a member of the California State Bar Association and spent 15 years as Vice President Corporate and Government Affairs and Vice President of Human Resources at Grimmway Farms - one of the largest agriculture companies in the world. He is a licensed insurance broker. He is a Commissioner on the Commission for Health, Safety and Workers Compensation serving as its Chair in 2009, 2011 and 2015. He served as a Trustee on the California Self Insurer’s Security Fund for many years and as a Board Member of the California Workers Compensation Institute. He is a former member of the California State Food and Agriculture Board of Directors.
